We are having lots of fun and working very hard on our repertoire for our Fall Concert.  The list of songs that we are working on each day is:

6th grade choir - 'Sing Alleluia' and 'Sarasponda'

7th grade choir - 'Shenandoah,' 'Fuego,' and 'Jubilate Deo' (to be combined with the 8th grade choir)

8th Grade choir- 'Let The Earth Resound,' 'I Want to Walk as a Child of the Light' (a song to honor the memory of Mr. Chuck Watkins), and 'Jubilate Deo.'

'Jubilate Deo' is an all-region choir audition piece this year, and the 7th and 8th grade girls are excited to learn this song.  If they so choose to auditon for Region Choir, they will already have learned a song!  :)

Here are the dates YOU should know for the fall semester:

Sept. 12, 13, 19, 20 - 'Good News!' @ HPHS

October 22, 23, 24, 25 - 'Oliver!' @ HPMS

November 5th - HPMS Fall Concert - 7 PM

November 7 - Solo and Ensemble contest (7 and 8 only)

December 3 and 4 - Shakespearean Feast (8th only)

December 10 - Choir Holiday Party (after school)

December 11 - Holiday Concert at Northpark
