TAG: Spelling Bee
Stnd: Discuss the elements of a scene.
Cut them apart and organize them in your journal. Think about the
relationships. Write small notes and arrows to show the relationships.
You will have end up with something different.

Week Two: January 9th-13th
Monday

ALL: Spelling Bee (round two) will be tomorrow. Night is on sale downstairs. It's $10. Please have this book by Tuesday, January 17th.
TAG: Finish up Spelling Bee (round one). Add the book Shades of Gray to your optional book list. Work on Literary Terms #3 (due Friday). Begin discussing research.

TAG: Research: group research-genocide. First we will
brainstorm the questions we want answered. I've already picked your
groups. Later we will divide up and teach each other. Decide which book you want to read. You'll know by Thursday if you don't get your first choice. I don't think this will happen!
STND: Short Story Writing.
